Following up our servicing of her remix EP for “You (ha Ha Ha),” this digital DJ promo features Charli XCX, ‘s debut album, True Romance, , out April 16th in the US. Over the past few years, Charli has released a series of singles and mixtapes, toured the globe supporting the likes of Coldplay, Santigold, Sleigh Bells and Justice. Through it all her main focus has always been on making the best possible album she could. ”I’m fascinated by pop music being picture-perfect on the outside and warped and f*cked up underneath,” Charli explains, and it’s a stance that’s hard to ignore when immersed in True Romance. For instance there’s “You’re The One” (“the ultimate ‘wow I’m so in love that I’m exploding from every orifice’ song”), but then there’s “Stay Away” (“the flipside, the dark side when it’s emotionally heavy and it gets warped and f*cked”). And then, she adds, there are “party jams, but not bad party jams that make you hate the world.”

On January 22nd, nine-time Grammy Award winning singer Norah Jones will unveil a digital EP collecting all seven remixes for her Little Broken Hearts album (produced by Danger Mouse) to date. This DJ promo features the full Little Broken Hearts Remix EP, including four transcendent remixes from TV On The Radio’s David Andrew Sitek, and two brand new remixes delivered by José Padilla, celebrated Ibiza chill ambassador and legendary DJ of the island’s Café Del Mar. Finally, topping off the collection is Peter Bjorn and John‘s re-invention of the chilling “Miriam.”

Jones has also just released Covers via Target, an exclusive compilation of ten rare and unreleased tracks recorded over the first decade of Jones’ career. Having toured on this year’s Identity Festival, DJ and producer Cole Plante unleashes his latest single, “Bring Back The Boom.” The 16 year old recently told Spinner RPM, “I wanted to pay homage to the ’90s breakbeat sound and added a reggae bass line. Up-and-coming UK rapper/producer Adian Coker releases his Lights Fantastic mixtape today in association with Karmaloop on his own indie label Bloom in June. The 9 tracks combine classic styled bangers, modern hits and contemporary R&B with the help of female vocalists. The project began two years ago with the creation of the opening track “Angels & Demons,” and Coker was still perfecting every aspect until it was mastered.
