The astonishing presence, voice, look and feel of Lana Del Rey has propelled her to musical stardom. Brittle, emotional, cascading with cinematic reference points, her songwriting is technicolor. The tainted glamor of “Video Games,” with its lyrical leanings towards the verbal loquacity of hip hop and its noir-ish melodic feeling for torch singing, is just the beginning for her. This digital DJ promo features remixes by the UK’s Joy Orbison, Clique, and We Don’t Belong In Pacha.
