Legendary SF/ NYC electronica pioneer Scott Hardkiss is unleashing his most fully-realized vision yet: his highly-anticipated debut artist album Technicolor Dreamer, set to be released on his own new indie label God Within Recordings. While the majority of the album features a 21st century P-Funk or Prince’s Revolution-style band (a sexy, diverse group of vocalists and musicians: musically-eclectic, multi-cultural, and poly-sexual), the album’s first single “You’re the Star” finds Scott playing every instrument himself (including drums, bass, keys, guitar & vocals), save one blazing guitar solo rocked by one Jose Luis Pardo (a.k.a. DJ Afro of Los Amigos Invisibles). This digital DJ promo brings you the album version, the instrumental and the acappella, along with two remixes: With his Juicy Mix, Robbie Rivera creates what is sure to be a big room, hands in the air, vocal dance floor anthem for the summer, while Kris Menace takes it in to deeper, dubbed-out underground territory in crafting his groove-worthy instrumental rework.
